At the Zoo
|

We brought Alana to the zoo last Thursday, after a few months of planning...alas pegi jugak to the zoo. Alana was very excited at first, when she saw the giraffes and her favorite eli (elephant), but after a while she started to get very cranky, pasal banyak sangat jalan kot.
Well, the zoo is ok...not to say best sangat. I guess sebab tak banyak binatang, and mostly the ones that we wanna see were basically sleeping!! look at this lion, so tak active
And there's only one pony at the zoo....I was a bit frustrated sebab takkan la ada sekor jek kuda dalam sebesar2 kawasan zoo tu...mebe my expectation was too high at that time cause selalu sangat nampak kuda padi kat Pantai Batu Buruk.
But Alana was having fun anyway, despite penat tengok binatang, lastly she dapat play with slides, sangat happy!!! Mebbe in the future, we should bring her to more outdoor outings other than shopping malls.

Introducing another member to our family --> Alan Ridhwan , born on 18th December 2007, 4.49 am via emergency c-sect. Alan's slightly lighter than Alana, at 3.005kg at birth but he's catching up (nursing every hour  ).

Second Haircut

Alana's second haircut --> we all potong kat salun biasa jek...salun sebelah our favourite nasik ayam shop (Cozy House) at Ampang Park. Slightly cheaper la than A Cut Above...10 bucs....okla tu and I rasa dia potong lagi cantik dari A Cut Above. heuheuheuh..

Alana's 1st Birthday Party

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALANA!!!. Actually party ni macam my gathering party with friends.  . (I deserved that..heheheh..cause dah lama tak jumpa certain2 ppl). . Many ppl came, family (Feiz's side) and Kak Ina, Abang Man and Mirza. Then my ofcmates, Bunn, Kak Jel, Ila and Poek, Lin, Mak Lin and Petet and some of Feiz friends. This is actually my first time organizing a birthday party...tu pun all catering jek...I asked Kak Eyerin to cook briyani gam and even asked for free dessert...seb baik dapat cake buah kukus satu....Thanks Kak Eyerin!! Alana's Secret

I've been tagged by Timmy...haha....i tatau pun pasal this game..nevertheless, let's play it. I'm supposed to tell the meaning for my daughter's name....aights...
Alana Ashikin - why did my husband and I choose the name?
Alana tu actually based from the 'Girl From Tomorrow'. Kalau sapa2 yang tgk alam ria cuti sekolah time tahun 90an dulu mesti familiar ngan citer tu. hehehe....so dapatla satu nama,'Alana'....then we all carik2 makna Alana...it means the fair one and beautiful in Gaellic and Hawaiian. Ok, makna dah cun....we don't really mind from what language as long as it has a beautiful meaning. Ok, then we were stuck with her second name...until the day before I went into labor, Feiz revealed to me the name Alana Ashikin...cantiklaa..the name sounds so nice....
So what does Ashikin means? well, i tried to find the meaning of Ashikin in many books and websites but to no avail, until my mother in law told me that it is 'mengasyikkan'. So, do the math and combine those two...you get beautiful and enchanting.....hahaa.
Ok, lagi satu requirement Feiz letak was, her name must start with the letter A. Sebabnye, dulu husband saya yang bernama Feizrul Amril Nor ni selalu dapat nombor satu dalam kelas, tapi masa hari penyampaian hadiah, nama dia tak kene panggil dulu, eventhough dapat nombor satu....budak2 yang nama start dengan 'A' or anything before 'F' yang dipanggil..that time he was frustrated la...penat2 dapat nombor satu but then budak lain dapat hadiah dulu ...***sayang, i think ur school pelik laaa....i dapat nombor satu dapat jek naik stage dulu***
So...now bila dah ada anak..mesti kene start with 'A'. Just in case kalau dapat 1st in class bolehla amik hadiah dulu...hihi
So...that's the secret laa....

Sarah's Birthday Party

The pix were taken masa birthday party Sarah, held in Putrajaya Precint 8 MPH. Siap ada clown2 and magician seme...the funny thing is clown tu cam gelap...he has dark skin color and dia tak paint pun muka dia...so nampak cam kelakar jek clown tu. Alang2 dah jadik clown better paint the whole face . It is a backdated birthday party cause she was actually born in June and the party took place in July. We found something cool at the party...ROTI JALA KALER PINK...that was so coolll....rasa sama jek.
Alana time ni baru start2 nak jalan on her own. So we all just lepas her roaming around the party hall.... tapi quite dangerous cause she tak terror jalan lagi ada ada ramai big kids yang lari so macam nak langgar2 dia....anyway..Alana as usual happy jek..dia sukala bila ada ramai2 big kids...suka main ngan budak besar. Next month --> Alana's birthday party plak.
